Daniel Powter’s debut single first saw life in the French coco cola advert and since then has gone on to become an international hit. It debuted at number 2 in the UK (due to James Blunt being unbeatable) and his debut album Daniel Powter is still to be charted.
Daniel knows Bad Days very well;
Daniel constantly wears a hat to hide a scar left when a car hit him and two weeks before he was to record the video for Bad Day his apartment burnt down.
He never intended to be a ‘pop star’ and wrote songs because he had to.

James Blunt was in the army as his father and many generations before hand also were and wrote the songs featured on his number 1 album Back to Bedlam on his travels and throughout his life. No Bravery for example, was written whilst in some obscure country whilst serving in the army. After he left the army he secured a record deal and his current single Your Beautiful reached number 1 and hasn’t moved since.
